THE STORY BEHIND THE SHIRT
The Liverpool 2020/21 home shirt represents a challenging but ultimately successful season for Mohamed Salah and the Reds. Following their long-awaited Premier League title triumph the previous campaign, Jürgen Klopp’s side faced an unprecedented season shaped by the COVID-19 pandemic and a series of major injuries. Despite these setbacks, Salah continued to deliver outstanding performances, finishing the Premier League campaign with 22 goals and finishing second in the league’s scoring charts. His goals were crucial in helping Liverpool recover from a difficult period during the winter and secure a third-place finish, guaranteeing Champions League qualification on the final day of the season. The campaign also saw Salah reach the remarkable milestone of 100 Premier League goals for Liverpool, further cementing his status as one of the club’s greatest modern forwards. Featuring the Premier League and No Room for Racism patches, this shirt captures a demanding season in which Salah’s consistency and goalscoring quality helped Liverpool overcome adversity and finish among England’s top teams.
