THE STORY BEHIND THE SHIRT

This FC Barcelona 2012/13 shirt represents one of the most extraordinary individual seasons of Lionel Messi's legendary career. At 25 years old, the Argentine superstar was at the peak of his powers, dazzling the world with his incredible dribbling, vision and remarkable goal-scoring ability. Messi scored an astonishing 60 goals in all competitions that season, including 46 goals in La Liga, helping Barcelona reclaim the Spanish league title. His performances were particularly remarkable as he scored in 21 consecutive La Liga matches, setting a new benchmark for consistency and attacking excellence. Despite suffering a hamstring injury towards the end of the campaign, Messi's contribution proved instrumental in Barcelona's domestic success. The team finished the season with 100 points, equalling the La Liga record at the time, and secured the title with four matches remaining. Featuring both the La Liga patch and the special La Marató de TV3 charity patch, this shirt is a distinctive piece from a historic campaign. A truly iconic shirt capturing Messi's extraordinary dominance during a season in which he continued to redefine the limits of goal-scoring excellence.
