THE STORY BEHIND THE SHIRT

This FC Barcelona 2015/16 home shirt represents another extraordinary season in the legendary career of Lionel Messi. At 28 years old, the Argentine superstar remained at the heart of Luis Enrique's formidable Barcelona side, combining his extraordinary dribbling, vision and goal-scoring ability with an increasingly influential playmaking role. Alongside Neymar Jr. and Luis Suárez, Messi formed part of the iconic MSN attacking trio, which scored an astonishing 131 goals in all competitions during the campaign. Barcelona enjoyed remarkable success, winning La Liga and the Copa del Rey to complete a domestic double. Messi scored 41 goals in all competitions, including a memorable free kick against Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup, helping Barcelona secure a thrilling 5-4 victory after extra time. Although their Champions League defence ended in the quarter-finals against Atlético Madrid, the season further cemented Messi's status as one of the greatest players of all time. Featuring the iconic number 10, this shirt captures a memorable chapter in Barcelona's history and the brilliance of a footballing genius who continued to redefine the game alongside two of the world's most dangerous forwards.
